The design should capture the essence of the restaurant's punky, rebellious character, while also conveying a sense of fun, inclusivity, and uniqueness. This creative project involved the design of a comprehensive wayfinding system for King Kong Milk Tea & Smoothies, a cafe focused on serving delicious milk teas and smoothies. The objective was to create a cohesive and visually engaging branding experience, integrating the logo design with functional wayfinding elements. These elements included an order and pickup sign, a parking sign, and a main store sign, all harmonizing to guide customers effortlessly through their visit.
The logo design, inspired by the cafe’s playful and bold name, incorporates elements that evoke a sense of fun and approachability while maintaining a modern aesthetic. The typographic treatment and iconography were crafted to reflect the brand’s personality—strong, unique, and inviting.
The wayfinding system was designed with functionality in mind, ensuring clarity and ease of navigation for customers. The signs were designed to be easily readable and consistent with the cafe’s branding, creating a cohesive visual identity throughout the customer journey. From the order counter to parking spots, each sign was crafted to enhance the overall customer experience while aligning with the playful yet professional tone of the cafe.
